The small things are the most beautiful things. Like today… I was pulling weeds. Taking pictures of my flowers, feeding my rescued cat Spooky. Little things mean so much and make a heart feel so much more full :)
You’ve perfectly captured that exhausting paradox of running until your lungs burn, only to realize the one thing you’re outrunning is the ground beneath your feet. Love this ✨
Great piece! I like how you arranged the words and line breaks. As a fellow runner (especially of the mind for miles and miles and miles), I can identify with this. <3
Such a voice. Haunting and beautiful words Love the poem. Thank you ✨✨✨
Thank you 🥹🫶 that means a lot.
Def getting more inspired daily to write poetry. It’s becoming a must. This form of expression is… idk… magical?
It does feel that way, especially turning mundane moments into beauty. It makes me feel grateful to be able to experience even the small things.

"I run faster and farther
but can’t escape my own mind"
I have the same problem but I run in the free time anyway.
Great poem, I love it!
Thank you so much!!! ☺️🫶 Yes, can never get away, BUT that runner’s high really makes you feel a million times better once it kicks in.
Good one, Em! Sounds familiar from my running days
Thank you!!! ☺️🖤 I mostly run on the elliptical now, but the elliptical is less poetic lolol…
haha going around and around in place is a different kind of poem :)
I can totally relate to this. Nicely done 🙏
Thank you, Mark! ☺️🫶
